Li riconosci subito, quelli che hanno avuto un dolore. Un dolore vero, grande, qualcosa che segna un prima e un dopo. Qualcosa che ti ha portato a un centimetro dalla morte ma poi non sei morto.
Qualcosa che un secondo prima eri bambino e uno dopo ti sei svegliato già grande.
Qualcosa che, anche se passano gli anni, non se ne va e si mostra ogni tanto nei dettagli, in certi sguardi, nella grafia, piccolino ma c’è, è lì e parla con te.
Li riconosci subito quelli che hanno avuto un vero dolore e non perché sono più stronzi, non perché hanno la scorza più dura.
Io non li sopporto quelli che con la scusa del dolore diventano più cattivi.
No, il vero tratto distintivo di chi ha sofferto per davvero è che in fondo è gentile.
C’è come un velo di clemenza sopra tutti i gesti.
Chi ha sofferto davvero non infierisce mai, non calpesta, sta attento a tutto, osserva.
Se può evita di ferire e se non può, preferisce ferire sé stesso.
